Glamping has continued to become a rising trend throughout the years, and we don't see it stopping anytime soon. If you don't know, glamping is the luxurious side of traditional camping where the accommodations include amenities to make your stay more comfortable. Although glamping may not be for everyone, we believe that it's something everyone must try at least once to see if it's a hobby for you! We gathered our top recommendations to consider before you select the perfect New Hampshire glamping cabin - keep reading to learn more!
Before you choose which glamping cabin is best for you, you must first learn about the cabin's sleeping accommodations. Learning how many people your cabin can sleep is crucial to finding the perfect glamping cabin!
At Jellystone Park™ Glen Ellis, we have 15+ luxury cabin types to choose from. Talk about options! If you have a small family, our Bear-A-Dise Bungalows (sleeps 5) are a great option or one of our Glamping Pods with arangements for up to four. If you have a mid-sized family, check out our Ranger's Retreat Cabins, Meadow Haven Cabins, Cindy Bear™ Cabins, Saco Sunset Cabins, Boo Boo™ Beachfront Cabins, Ellis Riverfront Cabins, Riverfront Saco Sunset Cabins, Boo Boo™ Plus Cabins, and Black Bear Escape Cabins - they all sleep up to 7 people!
In general, it's good to note if your glamping rental includes a full kitchen and bathroom so that you can plan ahead of time what you need to bring. Lucky for you, almost all of the glamping options at Jellystone Park™ Glen Ellis include a bathroom, so there's no need to worry about leaving your cabin in case of an emergency! As for kitchens, most of our glamping cabins are equipped with either a kitchenette (sink), kitchen (no oven), or kitchen (oven). The only exception being our Glamping Pods which offer a more minimalistic camping style.
For those looking to book a cabin rental that includes a kitchenette with only a sink, we recommend booking our Bear-A-Dise Bungalows. If you're looking to book a glamping cabin with a little more luxury, our Ellis Riverfront Cabins, Boo Boo™ Plus Cabins, and Black Bear Escape Cabins have a full kitchen, but no oven. Lastly, our Ranger's Retreat Cabins, Meadow Haven Cabins, Cindy Bear™ Cabins, Sace Sunset Cabins, and Riverfront Saco Sunset Cabins are the definition of pure luxury as they have a full kitchen with an oven.
Privacy is a huge concern when booking the perfect New Hampshire glamping cabin. The cabins at our Camp-Resort have some unique amenities to provide you with extra privacy - like private bedrooms, screened-in porches, and loft spaces!
Looking to book a glamping rental that has a private bedroom or two? No problem! At Jellystone Park Glen Ellis™, our Ranger's Retreat Cabins, Meadow Haven Cabins, Boo Boo™ Beachfront Cabins, Ellis Riverfront Cabins, Boo Boo™ Plus Cabins, and Black Bear Escape Cabins all include one private bedroom for the parents. Looking for more than one bedroom? Check out our Cindy Bear™ Cabins, Saco Sunset Cabins, and Riverfront Saco Sunset Cabins - these include 2 private bedrooms!
Once you try a cabin with a screened-in porch, you'll never want to camp any other way. These porches give your family the extra privacy you're craving and are great for quality family time. Plus, screened-in porches let you enjoy the "outside" without worrying about the weather. It's a win-win!
If you're looking to book a glamping cabin with a screened-in porch at our Camp-Resort, book a Boo Boo™ Beachfront Cabin, Ellis Riverfront Cabin, or Ranger's Retreat Cabin.
Loft spaces are not only fun for the kids, but are also great for the adults as they provide extra room and privacy. Loft sizes vary by cabin rental, but our Bear-A-Dise Bungalows, Boo Boo™ Beachfront Cabins, Cindy Bear™ Cabins, Ellis Riverfront Cabins, Meadow Haven Cabins, Ranger's Retreat Cabins, Boo Boo™ Plus Cabins, and Black Bear Escape Cabins all include a loft space. You can't go wrong when selecting one of these glamping cabins!
Don't leave your furry friend behind if you don't want to! No matter where you go, many glamping options offer pet-friendly accommodations. Our Black Bear Escape, Meadow Haven, and Saco Sunset Cabins all have pet-friendly options. Just make sure to add a pet to your reservation so our staff knows to book you in a pet-friendly cabin! If you're booking online, make sure your selected cabin has a paw print next to it when choosing your glamping cabin.
It's important to make sure all of your party members feel comfortable during their glamping getaway. So, before you book your glamping cabin, make sure to check if it is ADA compliant/friendly if needed. At Jellystone Park™ Glen Ellis, our Meadow Haven Cabin offers units that are ADA compliant/friendly. Choosing one of these ADA cabins may change the traditional layout of the cabin in order to better accommodate all guests, but you're still guaranteed tons of luxurious fun!
There's a lot that goes into booking the perfect New Hampshire glamping rental, and we hope that our recommendations help you with your decision. From sleeping accommodations and privacy, to pet-friendly and ADA options, answering these questions is crucial to finding the glamping cabin perfect for your family.
