PACK EXTRA CLOTHES
The weather forecast is constantly changing, so make sure to pack clothes for all types of occasions! Camping in the spring? Pack a raincoat, rain boots, and umbrella. If you’re camping in the summer — a swimsuit, lightweight clothes, and a light jacket are a must. For fall camping, make sure to bring a heavier jacket for the cool breeze!
TAKE ADVANTAGE OF ATTRACTIONS
During your stay, make sure to set time aside to explore all that our Camp-Resort has to offer. From the rivers to the swimming pool, from the jumping pillow to the mini golf course, your family will be busy from dawn to dusk with our line-up of attractions! Plus, our recreation team plans activities each week – all centered around a specific theme! Take advantage of these activities for a vacation the kids will never forget.
PREPARE FOR RAINY DAYS
Although we don’t want to think about it, camping and rainy days tend to go hand in hand. To combat this, we recommend bringing some activities that you can do inside your cabin, RV, or tent! Some ideas include a deck of cards and board games. Our recreation team will also do their best to move our scheduled activities inside or offer take-and-go crafts! This way, you’ll have fun — rain or shine!
It’s extremely important to protect yourself from all that Mother Nature provides, so make sure to pack sunscreen and bug spray! Instead of worrying about sunburn or mosquito bites, you’ll be focused on R&R and quality family time.
MEAL PREP AHEAD OF TIME
Once you arrive at Jellystone Park™, the kids are going to want to explore and do anything but stay inside! In order to avoid time spent preparing for dinner, do the meal prep at home! Taking time to cut veggies or marinate foods ahead of time is a great choice. Plus, the kids will thank you for it!
PACK FOR CLEANUP
We can all agree that packing to leave is the worst part about vacations. Make the process easier by packing plenty of garbage bags, paper towels, and dish soap. We recommend designating one trash bag for garbage and the other for recyclables. Yogi Bear™ & friends appreciate you keeping their home clean and tidy!
